Rightly Dividing Forgiveness

Forgiveness is one of the most difficult things to teach Christians. To realize all their sins are forgiven for eternity if they trust in the crucifixion of Jesus on the cross, His death, His burial and His resurrection. 1 Cor 15:1-4. And to understand how we are to forgive others. Forgiveness can be under the law or under grace. Jesus taught forgiveness under the law during His earthly ministry but revealed to Paul the forgiveness of grace as found in Romans to Philemon. Unless you know how to "rightly divide" the Word of Truth you will be confused concerning forgiveness. We are instructed to forgive under grace. However, most Christians are still operating forgiving under the law.
